This unique wooden puzzle features two fish chasing each other, as well as a tiny seahorse, observing the action from within algae fronds. The fish and the algae move parallel to each other but in different directions and with different speed, resembling the actual sea life rhythms.

Unlike the rest of Ugears models, where rubber bands are used, the ‘Mechanical Aquarium’ is wound up with the help of a spring, which means the pieces are able to move for a longer period of time (about 40 seconds) and the mechanism is more durable. Simply wind the knob underneath the aquarium and change the mode of operation from ‘Stop’ to ‘Swim’. The mechanism contains an internal pendulum, which ensures smooth movement of the pieces.

With 325 parts, the model’s difficulty is rated as ‘medium’, meaning that about 6 hours will be required in order to assemble it. No glue or special tools are required and you will get extended exposure to the wonders of moving mechanical parts and gain an understanding of gears, pendulums and spring-action mechanisms.

Like all Ugears models, the ‘Aquarium’ features high-quality plywood boards with laser pre-cut pieces. Everything you need, including the step-by-step color manual, is included in the attractively packaged box.

Get your ‘Mechanical Aquarium’ now and begin this breath-taking underwater adventure!
